Can a person earn more in india than america?

How much racism could an Indian (India) person expect to face in Latin America?

  • I know Indian people (as in from India) are not the norm in Latin America or South America, you guys have the Native Indians. I was born in the US but feel like traveling around some. Anyways can any of you educate me? BQ: How much racism would an Indian face in Argentina?

Hi ... Based on my experience you have nothing to worry about. I have lived in Central america in El Salvador for three years. Traveled to Guatemala, Honduras, Panama, Columbia, Suriname, Venezuela and Guyana. I have met many girls from Argentina as well and there has been no issue regarding race. I am also of Indian decent from Canada. The latin culture is generally quite friendly and accommodating. Depending on your complexion (level of darkness) you may pass as a latino. However in Argentina the people are more on the fairer side has the climate is cooler. Needless to say .... If you want to travel .. just do it. You will meet people regardless. Just be friendly, courteous and confident in dealing with people. Be adventurous and try different things and sample as much of the culture as possible. You will be surprised at how developed most of these places are. You will find many things you are familiar with in terms of restaurant chains (US) and retail outlets. But if you want to experience the local life it is there to be discovered as well. I am not sure what your situation maybe like but ... the women in Argentina are some of the most attractive in Latin and South America so enjoy :) Cheers

Racism can happen everywhere, but probably more in Argentina... most of the population is of European ancestry and there are very few blacks, asians, etc. Countries like Brazil and Peru are very diverse though I would recommend those. However, if you want to go to Argentina go for it, I know that they are generally very welcoming with tourists and I also know some really nice Argentinians who live here in the US

Little to none. With few exceptions Latin Americans are very welcoming and accepting. You will be judged by your actions rather than your race.
