How can I style african american hair?

Recommendations for a salon in Bogota or other city that can style African American hair with braids, extensio?

• I am an African-American woman who will be living in Bogota, Colombia for two years. I would like to find a salon or an individual that can make house visits to do my hair. I normally wear braids and extensions. Please help!

  First of all, congratulations. You're gonna be living in a beautiful country and a great city. But concerning your question, you might have a hard time finding someone that can do your hair mostly because Bogota tends to be a predominantly white/mixed city (mixed as in european and indigenous.) Also, most salons in Colombia don't have webpages that make it easy to locate them. I know of a place called Marco Antonio. It's really nice, but I'm not completely sure if they'll know how to work on your hair. Or try going to a Colombian restaurant near your city and asking someone that has recently been to Bogota.
