Brazil or Costa Rica for Honeymoon?

My fiance and I are getting married this March, and we will be going to our honeymoon on March 18th for 6 nights 7 days. We are torn between Brazil and Costa Rica. We want a nice scenic, relaxing, beach-type adventure. Which country would you recommend from Brazil and Costa Rica? Which beaches are better? Thank you!

I vote for Costa Rica Even though i haven't been to Brazil, there are too much bad news about Brazil. I rather stay in a safe place for my honeymoon. Costa Rica has more than beaches. I would like to visit their volcanoes, forest and wildlife too.

Scenic, relaxing, beach type adventure? Sounds like you need Maya Riviera, Playa del Carmen, beautiful caribbean beaches, 5 star resorts all inclusive, Mayan pyramids to climb and awesome ecological theme parks, xplor, xel ha and xcaret. check these places out for yourself on YouTube. But if you are set on Brazil or Costa Rica. I would go with Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for exotic beaches and extreme partying, and take a couple of days to go to Iguazu Falls, cool place on the border between Brazil and Argentina. Just be careful in Brazil, has reputation for mugging, specially at night, be aware of your surroundings.

Brazil has better beaches but Costa Rica has more of an ecological experience such as rapelling and rain forest. Both countries are very different. You have to be careful
