How does one become a citizen of Brazil for retirement?

  • My husband and I would love to retire in Brazil. He is Brazilian from birth and is now a US citizen. We would love to spend our retirement in Brazil. "Visa for retired foreigners: Foreigners who have retired outside Brazil can obtain a permanent residence visa for Brazil, if he proves to have a minimum retirement wage of at least USD 2,000.00 a month. This visa is valid for the retired person and two of his family members." So there would be no problem for you.
