What are some ideas for a presentation on Latin America?

• I have to do a 5min powerpoint presentation on anything to do with Latin America. It can be about anything currently going on in these countries, traditions, etc. and I just need some ideas of what I should research. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  I think the most important matter is the political trend in the last 15 years. It's not rare to find corruption in LA Governments, for that reason re-election was forbided. Pinochet in Chile, was a dictator from 1973-1989, he tried to stay in office until 1997 through a plebiscite in 1988 but lost. In 1990 Fujimori was elected president of Peru, then he dissolved the congress in 1992 and in-stored re-election, then won the elections of 1995 and then tried to cheat a win in 2000, a protest rose from the opposition and a collection of videos containing the bribery of all the media CEOs plus many other influyent political figures were released. Fujimori fled to Japan and his main consultant, VLADIMIRO MONESINOS fled to Venezuela but Hugo Chavez had to bring him in. They are both in jail now and for long. Hugo Chavez who was friends with Montesinos learned their NOW-HOW and installed re-election in Venezuela and he's been in office since 1998. He uses the country's Oil money to finance other leaders in the rest of Latin America, helping Rafael Correa in Ecuador, Ollanta Humala in Peru, Cristina Fernandez in Argentina, Evo Morales in Bolivia, Ortega in Nicaragua. So now 18 out of 14 countries have re-election and "They" always win, again and again.
