Cusco, Lima, or Bogotá?

• hey guys, i was hoping for some input about Lima and Cusco based on your experiences traveling there. My fiancé and I are moving in February and will be staying in one of these two places for at least six months through a volunteer organization. We are just having trouble deciding where we want to stay at. I love the city, and stayed in mexico city for a few months and really enjoyed it. How does Lima compare to Mexico City? What do you like about Lima? Also, Cusco. I know Cusco is supposed to be incredibly beautiful and the climate there seems to be quite cooler, which is good for my fiancé and I. As with all large cities, I know there is a risk of theft in Lima, and I was wondering if you felt safe or ever had problems in Lima? What about in Cusco? We are hoping to find an apartment in the location we decide on so if you know of any good websites we'd appreciate that as well. Any info you have would be awesome. We are also thinking about Colombia, more specifically, Bogotá. Bogotá seems like an amazing place and I have read (though i dont know how accurate this is) that despite its bad reputation in the past, Bogotá is now one of the safest cities of South America. What do you think? Lima, Cusco, or Bogotá? thanks!

  I'm from Lima and here is like other city in the world. if i were you i prefer cuzco because of their culture the style it's really beautiful and relaxxing Good luck!
