How much spending money should I save for PerĂº trip?

Everything is paid for ahead of time except for our spending money for souvenirs, extra food/drinks, ect) How much money do you think I should save up in order to have plenty of money to spend on souvenirs for my family, friends, and myself? I would like to know now so I can begin to save money. Thanks

Sounds like a great time! I went to Lima, Peru with my church last summer and it was an amazing experience. It was the same thing for me- everything was paid for in advance except for extra food and souvenirs. I converted about US $130 to soles and I had extra cash when I came home. But it depends on how much you want to buy and if you go to expensive places, you shouldn't need that much money. The average souvenirs at the Indian market (btw, totally cool) was around 30 or 40 soles which isn't that much and was for something pretty nice. I think for a alpaca wool scarf I only paid like 30 soles. Just remember that $1= around 3 soles and also that I'm not a huge spender, others in my group spent some more than I did. So I your like them, you may want to bump up that total a little. OH, and I went only for 1 week, not 2, so definetly consider that. You may be shopping more than I did. Hope this helps!

well about 2000 bucks

jajajaja
