Have you been to the Galapagos islands?

When did the Galapagos Islands gain it's independance?

  • I'm doing a research project on the Galapagos Islands for Spanish Class. I've looked all over for the answer to this question. When did the Galapagos Islands gain it's independance? Thanks

  • Answer:

As far as I know, they have never gained independence because even today it's under Ecuadorian administration. The islands were annexed by Ecuador on 12 February 1832.
