Best hotel to stay in Tamarindo, Costa Rica?

  • Hello, I needed some help on where to stay when I am in Costa Rica. I plan on going there for a week and plan on doing all the activities. I wanted to see what hotels people recommended that are affordable and offer many ammenities. I am traveling with 4 college friends and a couple are on a budget. So we are not looking for something relatively expensive, but enough to think you are getting a deal. Let me know if you have any recommendations on "must sees" in Costa Rica. Thanks for the help!

    OK SO I RECOMMEND 2 HOTELS! the first one is "Cala Luna" http://www.calaluna.com/ its an amzing hotel. The food is good, it has a nice little passage that takes you to the beach and if you can afford it the "suites" have a private pool! =) the there is the very famous "tamarindo diria" http://www.tamarindodiria.com/ it is an AMAZING hotel. Big and FUN. great restaurants and pools. right next to the beach so you get a nice view and great service! Playa Tamarindo is beautiful you are going to love it. You say you are on a budget so you need hotels between $30 to $50 a night. Tamarindo beach has from ugly cheap hostels for $10 a night to really fancy and really expensive $200 a night places but im guessing you are looking for something in the middle like $30 to $50 a night and those are very pretty and nice hotels so here is a link with a list of 13 hotels in Tamarindo.
