Which Gps For Hiking?

Costa Rica GPS - hiking and car routing - Nicaragua?

What Costa Rica GPS and or Nicaragua GPS will give me both hiking and car routes for use in my Garmin Nuvi? I also want to come back and look at the map on my PC. So please don't tell me about an expensive car rental GPS.
