Is it possible for an American to live and work in Costa Rica?
-
Hi, Im an american and I will be getting out of the military in about 6 months. Ive been to Costa Rica and have decided that I want to live there from now on. I have an MBA from Texas a & m and about 90,000usd saved up from deployments in the middle east. What do I have to do to move to this great country? Is it possible for me to find work? Ive got old surfing friends there so living will not be a problem but what should I be concerned with and where should I look for a job?

Answer:
Of course you can, just have all your formal papers in order and that's all. And where and what that's up to you, but you can definitely work here.
