What are your top five European destinations?

1) SCOTLAND-the most amazing place on earth! 2) Bulgaria (off the beaten track, kind locals, and beautiful) 3) Ireland (the Cliffs of Moher are so cool!) 4) Anywhere in Italy pretty much 5) Greek islands

Amsterdam, definitely. So much more to the city than the stereotypes. Dam Square, for example, is my favorite place in probably the entire world. I could walk around there for hours people watching :) Paris is nice, too. Somewhere everyone has to go at least once in their lives. London is also very fun. Great nightlife. I've only been to Berlin in Germany, and it was okay but I like history and old stuff, and Berlin is very very modern. The historical WW2 spots were insanely touristy and kind of a let down. But the smaller towns around the city were beautiful. That's all I've got :) But go to Amsterdam for sure! If you're in the Netherlands and have an extra day or something, take a side trip to Leiden. Gorgeous city, college town, super fun.
