You could find the tallest building and climb to the top of it. Not from the outside or anything just walk up the stairs. If nothing else you will get fantastic views. Find out what unusual food dish is served locally, some thing you would not normally eat or have never had before and try it. Give a coin to a beggar in each city you visit. Say a prayer in a church in every place you go, if you are not religious then simply make a wish for world peace as you pass. See how long it takes to find a MacDonald's in every town. They will be there. keep a list and note which one you find first. Learn the local way to say 'thank you' in each place, in their local language or dialect.. Collect smiles. Smile at every one and stare until some one smiles back at you. Take a small autograph book and ask at least one person in each town to write a message for you to take home. You should date the page and write where you were at the time. It will bring back memories later on in life. Pick up one piece of street litter every day and put it in a litter bin. You will find this harder in some places than others. Leave your mark. Discover where there is a 'visitors book' it could be at the hotel or in a place of interest and say something in it. Aherm:) I be Irish Okay no touristy stuff,understood. Climb to the top of the Galtees,theres a lake there named 'Loch Curra',its an unbeliavable trek,plenty of sheep to baa at you,but when you get to that lake,do a base jump off the ledge around it,or camp over night and set off fireworks from the top. Chances are,if you are in Ireland for New Years,you'l spot all the tiny towns around it setting off fireworks from afar.in the night,and if you're lucky and the skies are clear you'l get to stargaze alot. You must go to Galway and have a pint at The Quays Bar,its brilliant,and speaking of pints,have a pint at Durty Nellys at the foot of Bunratty Castle. Do not go to Dublin,its boring and overhyped,nothing there,it be boring,trust me. Trek the cliffs of Mohar if you dare,go to Funderland the lamest showground ever,their rollarcoaster is so dangerouse your sure to get a bit of adrenaline off of it..it be so ricketty you'd nearly think its going to collapse!Go paintballing in Glengarra woods,our beaches suck to be honest,but you can go to nice coastal towns like Baltimore or even do the Ring Of Kerry (backpacking for it is perfect). Now beware,our weather has gone very crappy,I wish ya suns and rainbows.
