Can you use the UK mail stamps in France?

Can you use Royal Mail ''Europe'' stamps to send a letter from France to the UK?

  • Answer:

No. You may use them to send letters from th UK to anywhere in Europe (up to 40g) using the Europe stamp and to anywhere in the world (up to 40g) from th UK using the Worldwide stamp. From the Royal Mail website: Universal Stamps make sending letters abroad easier for everyone. This new definitive range comprises a Europe stamp and a Worldwide stamp. Both display airmail chevrons down the right-hand side – avoiding the need for separate labels – and can be used to send all mail up to 40g. Both Universal stamps come in booklets of four, which also include airmail stickers.
