I see you've asked your question in the Europe - Other category, so if you're not 100% set on Greece, how about North Cyprus? It's cheap this year thanks to the better exchange rate with the Turkish Lira than the Euro, and of course it gets just as much glorious sunshine as south Cyprus! I think North Cyprus is the holiday bargain destination in the Mediterranean this year, because hotel owners are cutting their prices and that means lower prices if you leave the brochures behind and use a booking site. http://www.gonorthcyprus.com are offering special deals at 5 star hotels in North Cyprus including free half board upgrades, AND all their flights and their package holidays are all ATOL protected. Plus, they have a "Lowest Online Price Guarantee" so if you find the same holiday cheaper within 24 hours, they'll match the price. If you're not sure which hotel to pick, check out the new video from North Cyprus hotel review website http://www.northcyprushotels.co.uk which has independent reviews of over 50 hotels, from 5 star luxury to 'avoid at all costs' budget! If you want to book your own flights, try http://www.Flight-Cyprus.co.uk and for more detail on North Cyprus in general, you can't beat the quality of information at http://www.cyprus44.com

I have been to Argassi in Greece for the past 4 years and its fantastic and I would recommend to anyone!! We stay in a the seashell apartments which is directly on the beach, if you book directly with them they offer a very good deal. The email adress is [email protected] and her name is Roula, it is a family run business. Just book your flights with Monarch or thompson etc. I think you'l find it works out a hell of a lot cheaper. If you do email them, can you say Robert and Shereen send their love!! Thanks

Most discount web based travel agents will all have the same prices.

Try expedia.com and kayak.com for airfare/hotel deals. Venere.com works well for hotels in Italy, but I am not sure about Greece.
