What Is Best Way To Get To Barcelona From Ibiza?

  • We are going to Ibiza soon and would like to take a trip to Barcelona for the night...... We will be staying in San Antonio...... Any clues anyone????

    You can fly or take the boat. The boat is a bout 10 hours long, and costs a fortune. The flight is less than an hour and costs a fortune. The previous poster is right, you should forget the idea of going to Ibiza, and stay in Barcelona. Ibiza is really last century, cheesy, full of clueless tourists who are looking for a party that finished ten years ago. Barcelona is rocking. It's been getting better and better since the '92 olympics, and offers more intimate and exclusive clubbing than Ibiza, similar weather, cheaper restaurants and soooo much mure culture.

As a resident in Ibiza for the last 15 years I highly resent the posts that put it down, whoever wrote them obviously never took the time to look around the island. There are many very beautiful places if you just get off the massified tourist track. My daughter was born here of an Ibizan mum, and there is a vibrant artistic and cultural scene, as well as many places of great historic and architectural interest if you take the trouble to look, just check out this web site (for which I do all the English translations by the way. www.ibiza-tickets.com And take no notice of people whose ignorance shines like a beakon. Transport-wise, there is a ferry to and from Barcelona, as well as a flight. I believe the transport information has been uploaded onto the site, if not there are other sites with the information, as well as prices. It's my guess that the people who were so insulting about this lovely and welcoming island got there information from one of the various moronic English TV documentaries aired some years back, and aimed at them as spectators.

i completely agree with psymon,Ibiza is a lovely place if you take time to open your eyes and see the islands beauty for what it is,yes Barcelona has got nice architecture but out of the two psymon has said everything i was going to say..he gets a thumbs up from me?
