Italy travel advice.

I need travel advice from italy to croatia?

  • im trying to organise getting from venice-corfu-dubrovnik-venice... anyone got any advice on the ferry situation??

  • Answer:

You have to inquire into the ferry schedules of two or three countries, considering you want to organise Venice-Corfu-Dubrovnik-Venice route. Venice-Corfu info on ferries: http://www.ferries.gr/minoan/venice.htm You can book a Venice to Corfu ferry with operators Anek Lines and Minoan Lines. Anek Lines and Minoan Lines offer Ferries from Venice to Corfu in Greece up to 3 times a week, all year round, with a crossing time of approximately 22 hours and 30 minutes. You can choose the departure time as you can see: Mon-Wed-Fri-Sat at 14:00pm or 17:00pm. You can just as easily find the direct Corfu-Venice ferry, (same site) but I don't think you can get from Corfu to Dubrovnik by ferry. This line was stopped in the 1990s, and I don't think it was resumed. But you can get to Dubrovnik from Corfu if you take the ferry to Bari or Brindisi and then the ferry to Dubrovnik. You will find the info on schedules on the same links. But once in Dubrovnik, you'll find there are no direct ferries to Venice. What you can do is: Take the ferry from Dubrovnik to Rijeka and then a bus to Venice. Ferry timetable Dubrovnik to Rijeka is here: http://www.find-croatia.com/ferries-croatia/ferry-rijeka-split-hvar-korcula-dubrovnik-bari-summer.php
