How do you go about getting work overseas?

I live in UK, but how would I go about getting bar work abroad for the summer season?

  • I'm 18 years old and finish college in May/June and want to do a summer season bar job abroad (somewhere like Greece, Spain, the Balearics) and just wondered how I would go about actually getting the bar work and apartment?

    Hey i did something similar last year but it wasn't in any of those countries. i actually went to america and worked at a summer camp in pennsylvania. I went with BUNAC and i found them really great. They are a non profit organization so they were really cost effective. I paid a small fee then all my flights, accommodation and food for the whole time i was there were paid for. Plus i got a salary as well so really i got to make back what i had spent. BUNAC also helped me get my visa which allowed me to travel for four weeks after wards so i got to explore North America which was awesome. I don't know if that's something you'd be interested in. But if its bar work specifically ur looking for some friends of mine worked in a bar in new york and they did the BUNAC work america program and again BUNAC helped them with visas flights etc. anyway hope this helps...ALL THE BEST!!!

Have to start out by going to bars early, say, now, or look some up and email them. Then ask them what they have available for the summer season. Put your name down, then, save some money for the first months rent. Look up some apartments by going on holiday lets or long term lets in Spain/ Greece/ Italy wherever (Balearics are in Spain :)).
