How much does it cost to travel to other countries?

  • i live in the US. How much should I save so I can be able to travel to other countries like asia, hawaii, etc.? For like a week or two? Has anyone here traveled?

    one or two g's for your round-trip flight, a couple hundred per day for living expenses. also hawaii is not another country. it is part of the united states. it's good that you want to travel and i suggest learning about any place a little bit more before you travel there. asia is not a country either, it is a continent. learn some more about the cultures of the places you might want to visit so you will know what to expect there, and then you'll need several thousand dollars just to visit.

Hawaii is part of America (USA), I'm not american and even I know that. for 2 weeks in asia (not a country) you may need like 3000 dollars flight included, for japan maybe some other 1000, consider hotel, museums, bars, souvenirs, food, etc (not in that order)

A lot of ppl in the 50th state of the United States (HAWAII) would be deeply offended being referred to as another or a foreign country. No, we have never travelled and we are still living in caves and hunting woolly mammoths and saber toothed tigers. Yeah, I've travelled, speak 3 languages fluently and 2 semi-fluently and can read another language fairly well. How much does it cost? More than we'd like to pay, but less than too much to pay. Or, if you have to ask, you cannot afford it. If you have enough of what is commonly called, "disposable income" you can afford to travel. If you have to spend your last dollar on air fare and hotel or heaven forbid, if you have to take out a "vacation loan" just wait, work hard, save your money and go to Europe like ppl used to do it in the 1970s (when they were middle aged or retired). Don't you just love Y/A? Where ppl tell it to you straight!
