The Best and Most Famous places to SHOP in Paris?

  • For my 16th this august my mum is taking my best friend and I to paris to shop from Friday - Saturday but we don't know where to go. Where should we go that has shopping (or window shopping :D) from Chanel to topshop-ish standard clothing? :) Are there any big department stores like Westfields or Bluewater in Paris? Where are the must-go places to go so we can boast when we get back to school?! (only joking:] Please help me with any knowledge or experience of Paris or shopping :) Thank you

    Head straight to the champs elysees for dior, chanel, prada...and don't miss out st.germain de pres for the same type of shops! Never mind topshop, you can do that on the high street! I visited earlier this year and fell in love with the place...it's shopping heaven...you just need lots of money lol. As i'm a HUGE sex and the city fan, i watched the last 2 episodes of season 6 when Carrie is living in Paris, and basically traced her steps..including the huuuuge dior shop on the champs elysees. As for boasting when you get back to school...isn't going to Paris enough! Other than shopping, i'd really recommend the Louvre (out of this world!!) and of course, the eiffel tower (complete with cheesy "tourist" photo!) Have fun! x
