What is the Weather like in Cyprus in April?

April is one of the best months in Cyprus. There is a small chance of rain but the sun nearly always shines, the landscape is green and if you love the outdoors then the countryside is ablaze with colourful spring flowers. I live the other side of the island close to the Akamas peninsula. If you have a chance to get over here then do make the effort. You will be rewarded with breathtaking scenery, you can try one of the short nature trails on the Akamas then head for Latchi harbour where you can enjoy some fantastic fresh fish. Beautiful, You'll need a sweater if out after dark but the days are warm and sunny, and the island is at its best before all the greenery is parched by the summer sun. Have fun.

Just starting to warm up nicely, with most of the flowers etc just beginning to blossom. Protaras is a great place, with ; lovely beaches and coves, the main beach being fig Tree Bay. And everything is within easy reach of the hotels. some great restaurants too, try The Olympus ( great food, and really friendly people!) Parko, Island Affair, and Il Basilico Be prepared with a light jacket or sweater for the evenings, as they can be quite chilly. Protaras closes down completely for the winter, and becomes a ghost town, but I drove down the tourist strip last week, and the hotels and restaurants are busy preparing to open for the summer season. I live in Xylofagou, just 8K out of Agia Napa.
