How to take money from a bank?

How long does it take for money to transfer from a bank in Australia to a European bank? (Ireland)?

• Hey I recently transferred money from an Australian bank account to a European bank account. Does anyone know how long it take? its been 5 days now. Every time i call the bank they give me a different answer.

  That doesn't sound right. International money transfers by bank usually take 2 days max! Some months ago I received a transfer from Hong Kong to Spain in 24 hours. Check with the bank and ask them to explain the delay. Also check with the Internationl section of the Irish bank. All international transfers pass through there first and are then credited to the account.
