What kind of weather is in Poconos these days?

Shoes and weather for Paris and ireland? ?

  • Im going to Paris and Ireland in a few days. Staying for 2.5 weeks. Majority Of my stay in Paris and about 5 days in Ireland. What kind shoes should I pack to work with the weather in the 2 countries? So far I've decided on a pair of walking sandals. I heard it rains often so would bringing my knee length boots be ok in May?! They're flats. Also Im packing a pair of wedge sandals for the sunny days. Any help would be great. Thanks!

  • Answer:

Yes, definitely waterproof shoes are necessary for Ireland in May. And a light scarf and a waterproof jacket. I would leave the sandals at home for the Ireland section.

I go to Ireland every summer. This time of the year it is mostly rainy, so bring a pair of sneakers or rain boots. Sperry's are also really good (probably the best). Depending on how much touring/walking you are doing, it may be hard to wear wedge sandals. Bring a variety of shoes (aka 1 pair of flats, sandals, boots, etc) just in case it rains or on that rare occasion is sunny.

Just wear whatever you'd wear on a normal summer's day. Neither place has extremes of weather at this time of year.
