Where is the best place for shopping in Madrid?

Where is the best place for a single lady to visit in Europe?

  • I am a 28 year old woman who will be visiting Europe again early this September. Most of my itinerary is done, but I have 3 days left open where I don't know where I want to go yet. I'd like to spend these three days in a country that I have not already visited. My criteria are: -I'd like it to be in a big city, somewhere I will feel comfortable and not get stared at too much for being a mixed-race woman... somewhere rather diverse where I can meet different people, where at least some people speak English (I also speak Japanese, Spanish, and Italian but still I feel the most comfortable conversing in English) -Somewhere where the people are warm, open, and friendly, where I don't have to work too hard to open them up, and I can make friends easily (I love to chat!) -Somewhere that has great food, night life, transportation, shopping and historical places. -Somewhere where I can feel relatively safe being out by myself at night as a single lady (I know how to take appropriate precautions, don't worry!) -Somewhere where men are polite, chivalrous, but still quite romantic and attentive! These are the places I've been to so far in Europe: England (London, Bristol, Exeter, Devon, Bath, Salisbury, Manchester, Liverpool, Preston) Ireland (Cork, Galway, Dublin, Belfast, Blarney), Scotland (Edinburgh, Glasgow), Wales (Cardiff), Spain (Madrid, Barcelona), France (Paris) Italy (Rome, Florence, Bologna). I will be returning to Dublin, London, and Italy again since I adore these places but I want my three open days also to be spent in a truly enjoyable place. Any ideas? Thank you so much!

  • Answer:

Prague in the night is magic, Budapest on the river is wonderfull, nothing compare probably to this cheap but beautifull city.

You might get a second glance as a mixed-race woman in Europe, but you'll hardly get stared at. Try the west of Ireland, rather than Dublin. You might enjoy Galway.
