Have you ever been to Romania? What do u think of it?

What do you think about my country Romania?

  • I am 14 years old. My dad is American and my mother is from Romania. I have been to Romania several times, and I don't know which country I prefer: America or Romania. Romania is quite different from America. In America, most of the people go to church. In Romania, most people go to temples filled with rats. There are rat temples all over the country, and people worship rats. Men and women are equal in America, but in Romania, a wife is subordinate. Women walk one step behind men, and most women don't talk in public. In Romania, people always drink cow's blood for breakfast, and pork meat is nowhere to be found in the shops.

  • Answer:

I think you should learn to think carefully about what you write. Is America a better place just because "everybody goes to church"? Many people in the world would be a lot happier if fewer people in America went to church because then there wouldn't be so much fundamentalism there. I sing in a choir which during an international tour with the rumanian philharmonic orchestra of Satu Mare did concerts in the cathedrals of Satu Mare and Kluj. I didn't see any rats anywhere. While I was in Rumania, I never saw anybody drinking blood for breakfast and as for pork meat, what makes you think it's good to have pork meat in the shops? Pork meat takes alot longer than other meats to be digested by the body. Maybe there should be a lot more countries where pork meat is not in the shops. What do I think about Rumania? Wonderful people, but terribly poor. At least though they are in the European Union which means that by the time you grow up, Rumania will have reached a much higher standard.
