Where can i find a cheap holiday to spain?

I have a family buget for a holiday! can you help?

  • Hi there, I would like to go on holiday 2 adults 2 children aged 4 and 8. i would like a beach holiday! where the hotel is on the beach and the hotel has everything for the kids to keep entertained!! where can I go??? on a budget of £2500 or £3000 tops! Ive look at the Oceania club halkidike which looks beautiful! but would love other suggestions please, cant seem to find a holiday for £2500 and I think that's more than enough! I don't want to go to spain cos everyone goes there.

    where exactly do you want to go and for how long? If you want something for the kids you are going to have to go where everyone else goes because these are the places set up to cater for kids. We just had a week AI in Majorca (my kids are same age as yours) for £1100, we booked everything separately on the internet, took a bit extra work but it was worth it.

Have you considered the Algarve, Portugal? Its a beautiful place, there's many areas aimed at families and don't believe any bad press you may have read about it being bad for the safety of your children ... it's not. I had a quick look (not knowing where you are, where you'd fly from or when you want to come) but I used London as the start point and the end of july - high season. The prices coming back started at £299 per person per week. Flights, hotel etc. However - you could find cheaper if you're prepared to surf. And I'm qualified to say that the country is a safe place because I live here - so perhaps you could consider it as your holiday destination. Oh and it's about two and a half hours flying time from the UK. Whatever or wherever you choose, good luck :)
