Any great restaurant recommendations in Bordeaux France?

First trip to Europe???????

  • Hi! :) I'm a 16 year old girl and I'm going on my first trip to Europe next Thursday! I'm going with my parents and my sister, who's 14. We are going to Spain (Madrid and Barcelona), Italy (Rome and Venice), Vatican City, France (Paris and Bordeaux), and Germany (I don't exactly remember the names of the citys. Haha. :P), and possibly Switzerland if we have time. We are going for a month. During the trip, we are also going on a one week cruise from Spain and touring Italy. :) I'm soooo excited! Any tips or recommendations for the trip? Thanks!

    Sounds awesome. Try to brush up on French because the French hate answering questions in English. They at least want you to attempt to speak their language. They're bastards regardless though.

In Barcelona when you walk down Las Ramblas about half way down there is an awesome food market on the right hand side through some iron gates. Go and take a look. In the Vatican don't miss the Sistine chapel (as if you could)! In Germany, try a bratwurst from a street stall (yummy), wash it down with a German beer if your parents will let you ;-) (you can legally drink beer and wine when you're 16 in Germany). When you're in really crowded touristy places (like Las Ramblas) keep one hand on your valuables as pickpockets can be a problem in some areas. Have fun, sounds awesome.
