If you aren't afraid of cold water, the Cairngorms in NE Scotland offer snowboarding (check the town of Aviemore) and the northern coast has good surfing. Biarritz in France then 1h30 away is the Sierra Aralar in Spain... in the Car (It's not that good for Snowboarding though, or skiing) but Andorra is only 4 hours on the train from Donostia in Spain (very close to Biarritz France) Also the Cote d Basque has some of the best Surfing in Europe ;) I know I live there. Lourdes is another good place to Surf in France, it's further down than Biarritz. About another hour in the car. Yes Scotland also... Umm...s Sierra Nevada ?? and you can "surf" in the Mediterranean sea... there arn't good waves, not near Spain and the South of France at least I think you're looking at the atlantic sea for the waves to surf. and high mountain areas. I'm not sure if Portugal has some where to snowboard ?? But they have high mountains.. Can you Snowboard on any of the Portugese Islands ?? because I think the surfing there would be amazing
