Age requirement for Target?

Was there a minimum age requirement to be adopted from Germany to Poland in the late 1960's-mid1970's?

  • I met this guy and he says that he going to be 40 this year but his license and everything else say he's 42. He says that he was adopted in Germany by this polish couple. When they wanted to take him back to Poland to live, he said they had to pay the people off and make him 2 years older. I don't know if i should believe him or not. Why would someone lie about 2 years of age? But then again, it sounds a little fishy to me and i can't find anything to help me on the internet. If anyone knows anything or can help me at all, please answer my question. I just want to know the truth. Was there EVER an age requirement? He says he was adopted at age 7 so that would make him age 9 on the adoption papers. Or would there be a way to get his original birth certificate from Germany? Thank you. All help is appreciated!

  • Answer:
