Is Majorca a lively place to go on holiday?

Wheres the best place to go on holiday in october thats still hot and is good for all ages and within a budget

• lol not that i ask much ;) im looking but cant find anywhere i like. i booked to go to majorca again over the internet but the site has messed about with my money so im booking with a proper tour operator. my partner would like somewhere "english" somewhere thats still quite lively but not too lively as we have a 4 yr old daughter. (like alcudia is in season) would it be worth going to majorca again? iv been to greece a few times, and we've both been to majorca twice, so maybe somewhere new? i have a max £600 limit for the 3 of us self catering. (and it is do-able iv found a few to majorca for under £450!!) any ideas will be much appreciated!! thank u very much !! xx
