What is the cheapest way to get from London to Paris, or paris to amsterdam?

• I am travelling in August/September next year to london, and will be going to paris from there, then Amsterdam then back to london. Can anyone please tell me the cheapest way? Funds are low and i'm saving as much as i can, so i would rather spend the money i will have on fun stuff then on the transportation. I know that the eurostar/rail is the fastest, but i'm wondering what the cheapest is. Also, is it cheaper to book all at once or to do one way tickets all the way around? Thanks!

  Likely the cheapest realistic option is the bus/coach. Eurolines is a company that is used often: http://www.eurolines.com/ I have never used them and I do know men who do not want to travel London-Amsterdam overnight with them. If you know your travel dates early you can find a cheap flight, EasyJet is about as cheap if you do not bring luggage to check in, KLM and British Airways have good deals at times. But they are mostly less cheap. Calculate with € 60 for a one way flight if booked early enough unless the prices go up. http://www.skyscanner.com/ is one of the search sites for cheap tickets. There is also a train-ferry connection that can be good, although it gets you back in London about 11PM, good enough to go home, not good if you have to find your way around.
