  Weather in Europe is never really predictable. If you look on the websites with info, you will find a nice average, but knowing the weather in Europe, you will find that the real weather can be wildly different. On average, mild weather, sometimes warm enough for T-shirt, jeans and sneakers. On a cold day, you will want a sweater and rain jacket too, or even a fleece jacket in between or a winter coat instead of a rain jacket. So bring your jeans or alike trousers, T-shirts or nice tops, sweaters, socks and underwear and at least two pairs of shoes, when your shoes are wet you will feel much better when you can change into clean dry ones. For a coat, I think your best option will be a rainproof light jacket and a warm sweater or a fleece jacket. Of course, it does make a difference whether you come from a cold climate, like Canada, or from a warm climate like Singapore, so adjust to your home situation. There is not much difference between Paris and London, Paris can be a little warmer, but not much.
