How old do you have to be to go clubbing in France?

Where shall we go?!?

  • Hi all, I know the summer season is almost over here in the UK and after a brill holiday in Cornwall my boyfriend and I are thinking of going abroad next year. He has never been abroad before and I have been to France, Majorca, Greece ect. I was wondering what is a great place abroad to take him too - do I take him back to place I been or go somewhere we both never been and bear in mind we don't want clubbing and 18-30 stuff! Any suggestions please?! THANKS! Lx

  • Answer:

Try Andalucia- the food is wonderful, the scenery, and the white villages, the music, the culture, the people, and so many things to see......the Alhambra in Granada, Seville, eating freshly caught fish sitting on the beach, Costa del Sol, (the southern end ) would be breaking him in gently, and if he's homesick-take him to Gibraltar for the day!!!! Then try the Costa de la Luz-where the Mediterannean meets the Atlantic Ocean...........much more 'real Spain', not quite touched by the tourists. Enjoy!!

Hi there i know this sounds really out there but have u tried goa in India, its fantastic and very friendly and cheap if you book with direct holidays its the cheapest,no 18 to 30 just pure enjoyment i have been quite few places around the globe and their all similar,so 4 yrs ago i went to goa in india and havnt stopped goin since, best time to go is oct to feb,we go around the 24th jan till 22nd of feb every year, its so lovely and chilled so many places to visit by the way it only costs us about 630 pounds each for b/b in 2* hotel for 4 weeks and your treated like royalty, very clean rooms, sheets, towels rooms cleaned every day, nothing is a problem over there so if your not busy in any of those months why not try, idid and have been going for yrs went jan feb this yr and booked again for nxt jan feb as there the most popular months goodluck and enjoy were ever you go

look at your local airport and see where the cheap flights go to. Then decide

Rome is very nice though don't make the mistake we did and stay at the top of the Spanish steps. Barcalona is also very nice and is ideal if you're not planning on clubbing. We go to Majorca every year. To get a proper Majorcan experience, stay away from really naff touristy areas like PalmaNova, Magaluf and Palma. Go somewhere like Cala D'or. I would really recommend Disneyland Paris at Christmas as its not jam-packed like the Disneyworlds in America and they have fake snow, carol music everywhere and spectacular decorations. Its just magical and amazing, we go every Christmas without fail.

The best place to go to is Rhodes!!! Stay well away from Faliraki (apart from the water park of course!!!) and you will be sorted!! There is a small family run hotel called the Anseli Hotel in Kremasti (a bit of airport noise, but no biggie) which is SUPERB!!! My family and I have been going there now for 15 years and are loving it!! If you can find their details on the web, then it will be far cheaper to book direct and sort out our own flights - don't be worried about the lack of transfers, you can get a taxi at the airport and the hotel is literally 5 mins away!! I hope you get out there, it is a must do trip!! Have fun!!

Mexico! Fabulous, but don't bother with the more commercial ares, i.e; Cozumel, Cancun, try Puerto Vallarta! Lovely!!
