Aren't ski clothes cheaper in Europe than in the U.S.? What are some good (but inexpensive) brands?

I'm skiing in Switzerland in a few weeks and debating whether or not to buy clothes here in the States or to wait until I get to Europe. From what I remember, it seemed like ski clothes were cheaper in Europe, but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance guys!

Better buy in US. Dollar vs foreign currency is very low. It will cost you about 50%more over there.
