Foreign Exchange to Germany?

Foreign exchange -France or germany?

• Im going to be an exchange student next year should i go to France or Germany? and why? also do these countrys have highschool swim teams?

  I was an exchange student to Germany (many years before) and I have also visited France many times. I would prefer France without a second thinking. I stayed in Germany for a year. It's not true that they don't demand from you to speak fluently their language and it depends on where are you going to go. F.ex. in Hamburg (big city) it will be surely better than in Kassel, let's say. But let alone my personal experience, just think of the weather. Germany has an extremely heavy winter even in South (Stuttgart), it is a purely Northern country. France has a much better weather and of course better than Germany, less cold, less rains, more stable weather and much much more sunshines, unless you go to the very North part (Reins f.ex.). French are much warmer people, I've been to Paris 4 times, never had a problem with english, I don't speak a word of French. Of course in provincial cities may be somewhat difficult if you don't speak French but still I would DEFINATELY choose France. I hope I've helped.
