How to travel on a slim budget at Paris?

Want 2 travel to paris and u.k. including london with wife and 2 kids.i dont find a tour operator in budget?

SOTC and COX AND KINGS are all very expensive and they are a bit hectic too .............. one has to get up early in the morning to go for sightseeing ans it doesnt seem that you are on a holiday ............. rather try to plan your trip yourself .... i am sure you will enjoy and even you will be able too cut down some costs
