Does anyone know a good website to find apartments?

Does anyone know of a good website to find cheap self catering in Rome (less than 60 Euro per day for two)?

  • The self-catering apartments I can find through google seems to be at least 90 euros a day. Would like a small private apartment for less than 60 euros per day for a week in the middle of November. Does anyone have good suggestions?

    Staying in Rome is really expensive, but you can probably find something close to 60 Euro per day. We just returned from a vacation in Italy. We rented an apartment for about 35 Euro per day in Terracina, Italy, which is only about 45 miles south of Rome. We rode the bus and the train to Rome. You can buy a ticket called B.I.R.G., with which you can ride any bus, train, or cable car in Rome without limit for 24 hours. It's a great bargain! The other neat thing about Terracina is that there's a beautiful "boardwalk" along the entire beach. It's beautiful!

if you want cheap in ROME!! why not consider hostel? some have self-catering facilities like kitchen, laundry room, etc. and if you have willing to pay up to 60euros, i believe you can get a private room in a hostel. my favourite is www.hostelworld.com

HMMMM..I stayed at New B&B called Best Vatican and it was in a residential building and they coverted an apartment into a four room B&B, It was awesome. Not sure but I think it was like 100 euro in July...Might be alot cheaper now.... you other option is a hostel, which I have never stayed but the ones in europe are more like small hotels and very clean and nice... Buona Fortuna!
