What do they people look like in finland?

  • what hair color? skin color? eyes? tall or short? would you ever see a full finn with pale skin, and BLACK hair? thanks.

    These days there are many skin & hair colours seen here in Finland, people small and tall, of all ages and nationalities really! And yes, some of us native Finns do have dark hair, so it's not all blonde over here (though some people including myself are using hairdye, I've got originally blonde hair but have dyed it dark brown)!

I don't think any FULL Finn has black hair. I'm a Finn with black hair but my great-great-great-great granddad was of Swedish-Dutch heritage. Of course that makes me only about 2,5% foreign but I still have the black hair my ancestor had centuries ago. You may see dark brown hair with a full Finn but never black.

Hair color - every kind, from jet black to wheat-blonde. You really can't tell anymore who has a natural hair color and who doesn't. I know many foreigners seem to think that Finland /Scandinavia is filled with super blondes, but that is a stereotype. Your stereotypical Nordic blondes are not that common in here either... Skin color - fairly white, some people might even have almost "fish-gut" white skin. Eye color - I believe mostly on the blue-green variety. I believe brown eyes are not that common here. Tall or short - I'd say fairly tall. People are definitely taller than, say, a hundred years ago, because of better diet. I believe a "full Finn" (???) with pale skin and balck hair is a possibility - but the hair color in that case would probably be non-natural.
