Which city should I study in Barcelona or Madrid?

Which city has the best nightlife for a university student? Barcelona or Madrid?

  • im planning on applying for an interior design course, and i NEED a city with a grand nightlife cuz im not that much of a social butterfly and i need to loosen up a bit and be more open. P.S i might have to get a job in modeling and i only speak english and spanish but not catalan so it has to be a place with great modeling opportunities. The institute has many branches throughout europe including both, barcelona and madrid and the courses are taught in english. The institute is full of international students. THAAANKKSSS

    I have lived in Madrid for a year now, and it has an amazing nightlife, but if you want to go for architecture and design, I definitely would say Barcelona. Madrid doesn't have much to offer in that section, in regards to places you could visit. Barcelona is full of places to visit, architecture to see, and things to do. And the language is not that hard to deal with. Catalan is a mixture of French and Spanish, but you can get on with just Spanish in Barcelona. I wish you luck!

Barcelona is a beautiful city, full of markets, shops, museums and churches, and great for walking around. There’s an area called “La Rambla” where people like walking. It’s a favorite tourist attraction because there are flower sellers, street performers,paintings and restaurants. However, you can go to the beach, which is near, or you can walk around.
