What size satellite dish is best to get English channels when touring southern Italy or Greece in motorhome?

The answer, of course, is as big as possible, maybe 350cm. But since you are touring, a compromise has to be struck. Few people have enough space in their caravan to easily accommodate a large dish banging about. Most portable kits come with a 60cm dish. In many cases that is adequate, but for the Astra 2D (BBC channels), you are outside the footprint with that size in Italy and Greece. You need at least a 350cm dish when in Greece. A 240cm may allow you to receive it in Rome, but beyond that and you're struggling. I suggest you try something like an internet feed if you really can't do without English channels.
