THANKSGIVING TRIVIA QUIZ?

Please help me brainstorm trivia quiz ideas?

• On mondays I ask questions for a trivia quiz on a chat site. I know a lot of random trivia but with popular culture particularly all I really know well is USA and a little bit of Canada and UK. Several of the people participating are European, so I don't want my quiz to be too "American." Any help with popular culture in European countries would be appreciated.

  If you do country related questions you will always have some people advantaged above others, although it might balance the USA/UK/Canada questions. A simple series of questions would be capital cities, rivers, countries neighboring or not, mountain ranges and islands, wikipedia lists or a map will give you the information. Which area you select will help or hinder the people involved. An other set will be hobbies. You can ask me all about knots and I will be able to answer you more than you want to know, if you go to a general site about any hobby you will find information on that hobby, you can get a few questions about those. And you might be able to find a pub quiz 'book' written for the English online. Do not use all questions on a page, just take your pick. Like in a quiz night last Sunday I met a few questions about typical English subjects, but also if a car is going so many km/h in a 50 mile zone, is it speeding? What is the color of a Sapphire. When you have Caries what disease do you suffer from? Which river is called the 'wrecker of boats' in the local language. You see, a wide range of questions, used in several pubs in the area I am told, so you might be able to find some online.
