Have you ever been to Innsbruck?

Traveling to Europe (Innsbruck, Austria to be exact) to study there for 5 months .. HELP PLEASE!?

  • just wanted to know: 1. about the people in austria and if they're friendly or not and their attitude towards asians especially flips/filipinos... 2. whats the best eurail package and whens the best time to explore the rest of europe (will be staying there from september to january) 3. how cold does it get in innsbruck during the winter season i guess thats about it. Thanks!

  • Answer:

1.well most people are friendly, some are not. some will say damm asians go home but just ignore them. 2.the website up there is good. the best time is summer, sorry. it will be probably better to "explore the rest of europe" (its just funny, explore like explore out west or the us, but europe is so small) in september or october because then its still warm. 3.we had -20° about 2 years ago and the last winter was very warm but prepare for masses of snow and not much at all. i mean everything can happen

1-people in innsbrucke are amazing and friendly people...don't worry... 2-sorry to say that the summer is the best time to travel by rail...but there are still plenty of travel opportunities in the winter months...go to www.diebahn.de and you can set up train trips from there... 3-in the winter innsbrucke get super cold...we are talking sometimes to -20C....so bring warm cloths...
