    Gstaad and Kitzbühel are completely green in summer :) But it's anyway possible skiing in summer in the swiss alps, especially in Zermatt resp. on the Klein Matterhorn (12500 feet). Hmmm...that might be a problem with the global warming. Safe places used to be on the glaciers in the European Alps but they are now melting away. Check with some of the major, old skiing resorts like Gstaad, Kitzbühel or maybe in Eastern Europe like Romania or something. At least Finland and the rest of the Nordic countries are out of the question this year, there used to be a midsummer ski-contest but is no more.
