I bought the EuroRail 4-country pass. Can I use it on the overnight train from Barcelona to Paris for free?

On the website (www.eurorail.com) they say that I can use the overnight train from Barcelona (Spain) to Paris. But, they say I must pay for a reservation when using an overnight train or high speed train. I did that, and if I understand correctly, the 3-country, 5 day pass for one person is $375. To make a reservation on the overnight train from Barcelona to Paris is another $260 for a sleeper compartment? How is that a good deal? Please correct me if I am wrong.

Ummmmmmm it is NOT a good deal! I found the same thing...I bought the Spain only pass, and was disappointed that it seemed to have cost me more than buying the tickets separately. And, it sounds like you are paying for two beds for one person to sleep.
