What do you think about Romania ?

• I am Romanian and I was wondering what do you Americans think about Romania , have you ever heard of it and have you ever been in Romania ?

  anka, buna ! ce faci si in ce oras stai ? eu sant din Craiova si am niste bunici in Visina. I'm Romanian too but i live in America. (unfortunatley) =) I think it's a beautiful country I go there every other summer and stay at my grandparent's apartment in Craiova for most of the time. It is very different from America. I think it's just so unique si iubesc viata la tara acolo , nu-i nimic ca tara aici in America. I must admit though, the hospitals aren't very good, however, Romania is really improving it's stuff, I just went there for this whole summer. I have been to Timisoara, Craiova, Transylvania, Brasov, Bucuresti, and some other ones. I love it there I have so many memories there and I just miss it so much. I've heard it's economy is doing very well, which is good compared to in America where everyone is losing their house. It's very hot though, and not a lot of people have air conditiong there, but still, I love it. I love the people (although some are kind of rude), and the culture, and it's just an amazing country. What Romanian songs do you like? (I don't like Manele!!) I like: Vorbe Care Dor- 3rei Sud Est Sunt Cu Capu In Nori- 3rei Sud Est Soapte- Celia Zece- Florin Chilian Dragostea Din Tei- O-zone Baila Loca- Costi si toate cantece facute de Smiley!!! What songs do you like and would recommend? Almost no one in my school has heard of Romania before I came along, and even some adults thought that when I would say I am from Romania that I was from Rome, Italy! No one knows how to pronounce my name =P but it's OK i feel unique and am proud to be Romanian!!! =)
