I want to go on a driving holiday round France and Europe wheres the best places to go?

Paris is a great place with fantastic views also i would recommend Aachen in germany, it has a great christmas market

Research the types of things you enjoy. If you like art you want to go to Paris and Florence for sure. If you are religious you should go to Rome. If you are into cuisine, find the places that have different types of food or famous restaurants. Architecture, Horticulture, Fashion....pick the areas you enjoy best and build your trip around specific places. The adventure will be in the journey. Be sure to allow flexibility and always ask locals (shopkeepers, policemen, little old ladies...for security) what they suggest you see before you leave. The local tour is always worth it! Godspeed!

Germany has some great decors during the holidays. Last year during christmas they had the streets lined up with trees and wooden stores lined up all over the place. That was in both Berlin and Cologne. It really made you want to get into the holiday spirit for sure. Switzerland is also a beautiful place to visit as well as Austria. If you want to see snow, thats the place to head to. If you want a warmer climate, head to Italy, Spain or Portugal. South of France is a beautiful as well. Depends on what you want to do. in the military i was in france italy and germany . they were all fantastic. i would say i had a terrible time in south viet nam, so you might not like it there course thats in asia ?
