What do u think about romania?

i think it would be cool to go go there but what i have heard about it, it seems pretty awesome.

I know it's in Europe and looks like a nice place to visit.

Beautiful country with an interesting history, my only complaint is the Romas since they kept trying to get into my pockets and using the streets as toilets.

Romania is my country and i love the beauty of it's landscapes and it's nature. The mountains with the villages where you can see how people live for thousands of years, the Black Sea (the coast is not very big and it is pretty crowded) and the rich culture of the towns and their history: these are different from part to part, as different areas of the actual country have been part of other empires or countries. Some cities you might want to visit: Sibiu (in the mountains, the European cultural capital in 2007), Iasi, Cluj, Timisoara, Sighisoara (not big but it is the only medieval fortress still populated in Europe). Also visit the capital city, Bucharest, for it's museums and culture but also for the people: they have their own way of living, full of energy. But the most important of all things is the nature and the people still living in peace and harmony. I almost forgot to say that people in Romania are well known for their welcoming spirit. As we are of Latin origin,we do get angry quickly but we get over it. We are communicative and willing to help others and to have family and friends around us.

I was born there and let me tell you there is a whole story in that country. If you go to Timisoara downtown and you will see a fountain of fish and you will be surrounded by buildings. Well if you look really closely you will see bullet holes in the buildings still from the revolution. You see during the time where the president nicolai ceaucescu he had soliders up and down the street invading houses and killing innocent people. A school of kids were walking with their teachers during a field trip and the soldiers were starting to shoot at them so they ran toward a church and the priest locked the door so the soldiers wouldn't come in so the soldiers ended up killing all the children and the teachers. The priest should be a shamed of himself. but you should go there it has alot of history, just becarefull with the gypsies they pick pocket without you feeling a thing.
