Where can I stay in Paris?

Where can I stay in Paris at a reasonable rate (US$ 50 to 100 per night) if I want to go sightseeing?

• The major places that I would like to visit are Eiffel Tower, Louvre Musuem and the Paris Bridge (dunno what it's called). Keeping that in mind, which area is the best to stay in? Also, if I am going from London in the Train through English Channel, how far is this area from the station? Please advise.

  I have stayed with these people recently and before: http://www.mije.com/index_individuels_uk.asp They have 3 hostels near the river Seine in Paris, within walking distance from the Louvre and the Notre Dame. Clean and good security in a nice quiet part of Paris. I payed about 50 Euro per night, which is not much for a single room with bathroom in central Paris. They also do doubles and dorms. They have a book by e-mail service on the site, so you will have to wait a little to be sure you can stay with them or not, or you can phone them, they speak good English. Getting around in Paris is easy on the Metro, fast and relatively cheap. I think it was one change and a few minutes walk from the nearest Metro stop or no change and a little longer walk from a station a little farther, from Paris Gare du Nord where you will arrive with the Eurostar. I did walk all the way to the Eiffel tower once, but you can also take a metro and be home in 15 minutes or so.
