Has anyone been to Salou lately?

Has anyone been to Salou? (Salauris palace)?

  • i'm off to Salou with my boyfriend and we are staying in the Salauris palace hotel. Does anyone have any tips on what do see/ do? and do you know if they have an iron and ironing board in the room? Thanks xxx

    I don;t know about the named hotel, but I went to Salou in September 2004 and I am going back there week Tuesday (18th Sept) for two weeks. There are quite a few good things you could do while you are there. 1. Port Aventura theme park is Europe's Universal theme park. 2. Barcelona is only an hour away. There are trips run from most hotels. You could go and see the historic sights if you like that sort of thing. Or if any of you like football then Barcelona F.C is a must. Also there are water fountains worth seeing in the night time. There are also two water parks there, one of which is within Port Aventura. I hope I have given you some help!!!!

I stayed at the Salauris palace a few years ago and they were no ironing board and iron in the room but I know you could request to use one. The hotel was fantastic extremely clean and stylish the staff spoke very little English though. The port aventure theme park is good especially if you enjoy that sort of thing.

have been to salou, plenty of things to do. watch out for lots of men on men. its the place for them. try the casino very good & excellent food.
