Where is the cheapest place in Europe to fly into (from the US?

Where is the cheapest place to fly into and out of in Europe?

  • I plan to travel through several European countries like Italy, France, and the UK but I don't know where to start or finish. Where is the best place is start and or finish such a trip?

  • Answer:

There is no single place that's always the cheapest to fly into and out of. It depends on where you're starting from and exactly when you come. Sometimes when I fly between my homes in Denver and northern Italy, the cheapest route will be through Frankfurt or Munich, sometimes it's Amsterdam or sometimes through Zurich of Geneva. There are a few good tools for finding the cheapest places when you want to fly: the Explore function on Kayak: http://www.kayak.com/explore/ . Just enter your starting point, the month you want to fly and select Europe. Skyscanner: http://www.skyscanner.com/ Enter your starting point, the dates (or an entire month) and use Everywhere for the destination.

That would depend on where you're flying from. Since you're not telling it's probably the USA in which case London would be cheapest.
